It seems that sneakersons must have their way sometimes, and this time around Mr. Bolton demanded interview time. Thus, I present Dezired, the man with a plan. The kid consistently gets beautiful feedback about how well he fares on LAN with even him knowing that he rocks the boat. Leo has seen his time on the game and doubts he will ever return, but that doesn't mean he cant retract his statements and speak his mind about what goes down in this hell hole.

I've seen a forum comment recently that says Romance is nothing without Red. Does this sum your GoW status up as a whole?

I probably wrote that myself, ha, just a bit of banter. To say that would be exaggerating my skill just a tad.

But you are a man of many degrees. Those degrees would be satirical, praise, critical and perhaps concise?

You could say that, back in the day when the forum was at its best, I would agree I was a bit of a dickhead. But now I just say it how it is praise the good people and banter the shit people. The forums nothing how it used to be, so I don't see any real point in arguing with people who to be honest I know nothing about.

It is safe to say that your input has made a damn good contribution whether you are being positive or negative. If I remember, we briefly spoke at i38 and you seemed like a nice and straight-forward guy. Are you still opinionated in real life in a similar manner like you are online?

Good question. Obviously theirs a lot of difference between being opinionated in forum and to real life but I would say yes. What you see on the forum is pretty much me. The lads and myself have top banter and I’m always the one who comes out on top. I've also clashed with a lot of my lecturers over the years, I’ll view my opinion and if someone disagrees with it then I’ll do my best to show them why I am always right.

Being right on the regs is the equivalence of being a god. Are there any players in the community unlike the old school boys like yourself that have shown quality and grace in both skill and character?

Ermm I’m struggling to say yes, a lot of the new players certainly have the skill, but most of them are cunts. Their all nice lads like Vicious for example, but you wouldn't want them doing the job that you loco etc are doing. But that’s been the case since way back when I was a nobody. The only people who have the skill and character come from way back to the games release. E.g. loco, switch etc.

That's understandable. How about the structure of the community ever since Switch and Loco decided to take a back set and let us take control of the situation?

I don't really see a structure these days, in terms of the GoWforum anyway.

When you say "these days", are you saying that GoWforum was better when it was ELG when it first opened more or less?

I can't say I ever used the forum around those times; I only just started posting again recently. In terms of these days I mean back on the old forum (can’t even remember what it was called) with SouLz running it. Around about GoW's prime xl5/6 into early GoW2.

Yeah that's exactly it; your memory is probably failing lol. As for best moments during your time as a competitive GoW player then what were they?

I'd definitely say just pre XL5. I'd just come off a little cod stint and went straight into VVV which later on went onto .Arrogance. The competition was strong the banter was immense and although everyone knew Dig (or Reason not too sure) were gonna walk all over 1st place again, it was still the best. The event itself was good also, although we were disappointed with 4th, we gave dig their best game and we all just had a general laugh. Compare it to i38 and it was a whole different kettle of fish.

I love that reference. You are a man of the past, so can you tell us who were the men of the finest hour?

Ermmmmmmmm the best player for me was probably Aridity, in terms of just skill. He was awesome. Overall player though you've got to stick with the man the myth the legend - Loco. (situation quote) He was far too dominant. Honorary mentions go out to Crookz, Dom, Abs and probably after that the best player was me.

Who failed to deliver their skills at LAN?

I'd probably say Godshot, although he never had a bad LAN in particular, he never dominated one of those post-LAN threads. Online he just destroys everyone but when it comes to LAN he's still really good, just never that good.
