Ticket Price changes to SSF4 and FIFA 2010 + Prize Distribution Update

Quote:

After discussing the ticket prices for 1v1 games SSF4 and FIFA 2010 with our community panel members, the ECL has decided to decrease the ticket prices of both games from £50 to £25. Please be aware that anyone who has already purchased a SSF4 or FIFA 2010 ticket will be given a £25 refund.

Super Street Fighter 4 1v1 and FIFA 2010 1v1 will now be taking place from Saturday to Sunday, but customers who purchase either of those tickets will be allowed entrance to the event from Friday to Sunday.....

The ECL appreciates that this may cause some confusion, particularly with regards to the Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War communities. Therefore, the ECL are pleased to announce that the minimum prize funds for those three games will now be changed to an increased minimum regardless of turnout. We would like to remind everyone that the remaining prize fund that has not been distributed will still be given out based on signups for each game and is guaranteed to total £25,000.

Current Prize structure:......

Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 top 6 positions currently stand at:
* 1st - £2000
* 2nd - £1000
* 3rd - £500
* 4th - £250
* 5th - £150
* 6th - £100

It's a seperate major tournament, so unless you wanted to risk being removed from gow or ssf4 should your games clash, then you wouldn't be allowed anyway.

This is good.
